Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to oversee and enhance our social media presence across multiple strategic partnerships. This role will support our various departments, including Human Resources, Customer Relations, Policy Strategy, Legal, Economic Development, and many more. The ideal candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker, skilled in content creation, community engagement, and platform management.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies for a wide range of SayPro Strategic partnerships.

Create engaging content for various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn), tailored to specific audiences and partnership objectives.

Monitor, track, and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, and adjust strategies to enhance engagement and reach.

Collaborate with internal teams across diverse functions (HR, Legal, Policy and Community Development) to ensure consistent messaging aligned with partnership goals.

Respond to inquiries and foster relationships with followers, ensuring exceptional customer service and engagement.

Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure optimal social media presence.

Work closely with the communications team to craft press releases, announcements, and campaign strategies that reflect our initiatives.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a partnership-driven environment.

Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to develop creative content and strategies that engage and expand audiences.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decisions.

Ability to manage multiple projects and partnerships simultaneously.

Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics and Facebook Insights).
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of partnership management in sectors such as urban development, sustainability, public health, and technology.

Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign management.

Familiarity with crisis communication and reputation management on social media.
