Job Summary:
The Strategic Planning Manager at SayPro will lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic plans and initiatives to drive the organization’s growth and success. This role involves working closely with senior leadership to define strategic goals, analyze business trends, and ensure alignment of strategies with overall organizational objectives. The Strategic Planning Manager will be responsible for facilitating strategic planning processes, managing cross-functional teams, and providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Lead the development and execution of long-term strategic plans to achieve organizational goals.
- Collaborate with senior management to define vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions and workshops to align departmental and organizational strategies.
- Analysis and Research:
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and internal data to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on strategic performance and progress.
- Goal Setting and Monitoring:
- Establish measurable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic initiatives.
- Monitor progress towards strategic objectives and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Implement performance tracking systems and adjust strategies based on performance data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with various departments to ensure alignment of strategic plans with operational activities.
- Coordinate with project managers and teams to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across the organization to support strategic goals.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and challenges related to strategic initiatives.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Monitor risk factors and implement adjustments to minimize impact on strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on strategic plans.
- Present strategic recommendations and progress reports to senior leadership and the board of directors.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to support strategic objectives.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in strategic planning and management.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by recommending and implementing process enhancements.
- Lead initiatives to refine and optimize strategic planning processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or management consulting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey strategic concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in strategic planning software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
