Job Overview
The SayPro social media Fellow will be responsible for managing and contributing to the development of social media content, strategies, and initiatives across various partnership areas. This role offers the chance to work on exciting projects and collaborate with departments such as communications, customer relations, policy and strategy, human resources, public relations, sustainability, and more.
Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Develop, curate, and post engaging content across multiple social media platforms (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) to support SayPro’s diverse partnerships.

Strategic Planning: Assist in creating social media strategies that align with the goals of various partnerships, such as environmental sustainability, community development, organizational effectiveness, etc.

Audience Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster a vibrant and engaged online community for SayPro.

Analytics and Reporting: Track social media performance using analytics tools, provide insights, and recommend improvements to optimize engagement.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to develop communication plans that enhance SayPro’s overall digital presence and branding.

Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve content and strategy.

Campaign Management: Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns related to specific partnership projects, such as climate change, human settlement, disaster risk management, and more.

Support for Executive Leadership: Provide social media support for executive communications, ensuring that strategic messages align with SayPro’s goals and objectives.
Qualifications

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.

Experience: Some experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing is a plus.

Skills:

Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.)

Ability to create compelling visual content using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
