Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join SayPro Strategic in the role of Radio Stations Officer. This position will be responsible for managing and overseeing a wide range of strategic partnerships within the radio stations sector. The role involves engaging with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation and development of these partnerships, with an emphasis on strategic planning, organizational performance, community development, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Radio Stations Communications Partnership (SCSPR-1-29-1): Lead communication efforts to enhance the effectiveness of partnerships, ensuring timely and accurate flow of information between key stakeholders.
- Customer Relations Communications Partnership (SCSPR-1-29-2): Foster positive relationships with customers, ensuring high standards of communication and service delivery.
- Executive and Council Support Communications Partnership (SCSPR-1-29-3): Provide strategic support to executive leadership and council members through effective communication and partnership management.
- Human Resources Communications Partnership (SCSPR-1-29-4): Work closely with HR to align radio station partnerships with organizational culture and workforce initiatives.
- Information and Knowledge Management Partnership (SCSPR-1-29-5): Manage the knowledge sharing and documentation of best practices across the partnership network.
- Technology and Legal Radio Stations Partnerships (SCSPR-1-29-6, SCSPR-1-29-7): Support the integration of technology and ensure compliance with legal frameworks.
- Organisational Performance Management (SCSPR-1-29-9 to SCSPR-1-29-13): Drive the performance management framework to ensure organizational effectiveness, focusing on contract management, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
- Sustainability and Climate Change Partnership (SCSPR-1-29-23): Champion sustainability initiatives, including climate change mitigation and environmental impact assessments.
- Customer Service and Executive Office Support (SCSPR-1-29-15): Provide comprehensive support to the Executive Director’s office and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Infrastructure and Development Partnerships (SCSPR-1-29-54 to SCSPR-1-29-57): Oversee infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and buildings, ensuring they meet community needs and adhere to project timelines.
- Urban Management and Housing (SCSPR-1-29-77 to SCSPR-1-29-80): Collaborate on urban planning and zoning initiatives to promote sustainable housing and development practices.
- Social Development and Health Partnerships (SCSPR-1-29-31, SCSPR-1-29-109): Support initiatives related to community health, early childhood development, and social support programs.
- Financial and Accounting Management (SCSPR-1-29-102 to SCSPR-1-29-106): Ensure financial accountability and reporting, including budgeting, accounting, and tax collection.
- Disaster Risk Management and Preparedness (SCSPR-1-29-97 to SCSPR-1-29-100): Develop and implement disaster preparedness and response strategies to ensure community resilience.
- Training and Capacity Building (SCSPR-1-29-141 to SCSPR-1-29-145): Facilitate training programs and capacity-building initiatives to enhance staff and community skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in partnership management, public relations, or strategic development.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in project management, community outreach, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of sustainable development practices and urban planning is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant management tools.
