Job Overview:
SayPro Strategic is seeking a talented and passionate Local Television Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation, coordination, and management of various local television partnerships, with a focus on communications, strategy, and operations. Key Responsibilities:
The Local Television Specialist will work across the following partnerships:
  1. Communications Partnerships:
    • Develop and manage communications strategies for local television operations.
    • Enhance customer relations and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
    • Provide executive and council support to ensure smooth interactions and processes.
    • Collaborate with human resources to support the integration of local television workforce strategies.
  2. Knowledge and Technology Partnerships:
    • Oversee the management and integration of information and knowledge systems.
    • Support the implementation of information systems and technology across local television projects.
    • Ensure compliance with legal, policy, and strategy frameworks.
  3. Organizational Performance and Effectiveness:
    • Contribute to performance management efforts, including contract management and data science initiatives.
    • Participate in organizational effectiveness and innovation projects.
    • Assist in developing strategies for resilience and customer service support.
  4. Community and Environmental Engagement:
    • Work with community outreach, housing, and development projects to enhance local television engagement.
    • Lead climate change and disaster risk management efforts within local television initiatives.
    • Support urban planning, zoning regulations, and infrastructure development projects.
  5. Business Enablement and Resource Management:
    • Manage business resources, staff housing, and human settlement implementations.
    • Ensure the sustainability of energy markets, electricity generation, and public works initiatives.
  6. Health and Social Development Partnerships:
    • Collaborate on social development initiatives, focusing on early childhood, vulnerable populations, and health services.
    • Implement initiatives for disaster preparedness, emergency response, and environmental sustainability.
  7. Education, Training, and Development:
    • Promote educational initiatives, capacity building, and training courses within local television partnerships.
    • Support executive development and team-building efforts through workshops and learning experiences.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in media, public relations, or a relevant television management role.
  • Proven experience in managing partnerships, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and manage a diverse range of tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local television infrastructure, business enablement, and resource management.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory and legal aspects of local television operations is a plus.
  • Experience with disaster risk management and environmental initiatives is desirable.
