Key Responsibilities:
The Local Television Specialist will work across the following partnerships:

Communications Partnerships:

Develop and manage communications strategies for local television operations.

Enhance customer relations and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.

Provide executive and council support to ensure smooth interactions and processes.

Collaborate with human resources to support the integration of local television workforce strategies.

Knowledge and Technology Partnerships:

Oversee the management and integration of information and knowledge systems.

Support the implementation of information systems and technology across local television projects.

Ensure compliance with legal, policy, and strategy frameworks.

Organizational Performance and Effectiveness:

Contribute to performance management efforts, including contract management and data science initiatives.

Participate in organizational effectiveness and innovation projects.

Assist in developing strategies for resilience and customer service support.

Community and Environmental Engagement:

Work with community outreach, housing, and development projects to enhance local television engagement.

Lead climate change and disaster risk management efforts within local television initiatives.

Support urban planning, zoning regulations, and infrastructure development projects.

Business Enablement and Resource Management:

Manage business resources, staff housing, and human settlement implementations.

Ensure the sustainability of energy markets, electricity generation, and public works initiatives.

Collaborate on social development initiatives, focusing on early childhood, vulnerable populations, and health services.

Implement initiatives for disaster preparedness, emergency response, and environmental sustainability.

Education, Training, and Development:

Promote educational initiatives, capacity building, and training courses within local television partnerships.

Support executive development and team-building efforts through workshops and learning experiences.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

3+ years of experience in media, public relations, or a relevant television management role.

Proven experience in managing partnerships, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work across multiple teams and manage a diverse range of tasks simultaneously.

Knowledge of local television infrastructure, business enablement, and resource management.

Familiarity with the regulatory and legal aspects of local television operations is a plus.
