Position Overview:
SayPro Strategic is seeking a qualified Local Television Officer to join our dynamic Local Television Communications Partnership team. This position is ideal for an individual with a passion for television broadcasting, media relations, and community engagement. As a Local Television Officer, you will be responsible for contributing to a wide range of partnerships within the local television ecosystem, managing relationships, and supporting communication initiatives that enhance public engagement, foster development, and ensure the smooth functioning of television operations.

Television Communications and Partnership Management:

Coordinate and manage local television communications partnerships to strengthen collaboration with stakeholders, government agencies, and community organizations.

Support effective communication strategies that enhance the reach and impact of local television broadcasts.

Customer Relations and Public Engagement:

Oversee customer relations, ensuring positive viewer experiences and responses to inquiries.

Engage with local communities to gather feedback, address concerns, and improve programming based on audience needs.

Executive Support and Administrative Coordination:

Provide administrative support to local television executives, including coordination of meetings, reports, and strategic initiatives.

Assist in policy development and provide recommendations for organizational growth and sustainability.

Human Resources and Staff Management:

Collaborate with the Human Resources team to support talent management and staff development.

Contribute to the creation of training programs and capacity-building workshops aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the local television team.

Information Management and Technology Integration:

Assist in the management of information and knowledge systems that support television operations.

Integrate modern technology solutions for data management, broadcast systems, and online platforms.

Legal and Compliance Support:

Ensure that all television content complies with legal regulations and industry standards.

Provide legal support for partnership agreements, contracts, and compliance audits.

Urban Management and Environmental Initiatives:

Support urban management strategies, including planning for local television’s role in sustainable urban development.

Contribute to environmental sustainability efforts related to broadcasting infrastructure, waste management, and energy conservation.

Public Safety, Emergency Response, and Community Welfare:

Work with local authorities to ensure the television station is prepared for emergency responses, disaster management, and public safety communications.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred).

Strong background in television production, broadcasting, or media communications.

Experience with customer service, stakeholder relations, and partnership management.
