We are currently seeking passionate and driven volunteers to support various partnership initiatives.

Position Overview:

We are offering multiple volunteer opportunities across a variety of strategic partnerships in high schools and secondary schools. These positions will support key functions within education, technology, community engagement, environmental sustainability, and more. Volunteers will gain hands-on experience in educational support, community outreach, partnership coordination, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development and implementation of strategic partnership initiatives within various sectors (e.g., communications, human resources, customer relations, performance management, policy, strategy).

• Support the coordination and execution of events, workshops, and meetings focused on partnership development and community outreach.

• Collaborate with staff, school administration, and external partners to enhance the effectiveness of partnerships.

• Contribute to research, data collection, and analysis to support partnership outcomes and impact assessments.

• Provide administrative and logistical support for partnership-related activities, including document preparation and reporting.

• Foster positive relationships between schools, students, educators, and external stakeholders.

• Communications Partnerships (Customer Relations, Executive & Council Support, Information Systems)

• Organizational Performance and Effectiveness Partnerships (Management, Strategy, Data Science)

• Environmental Sustainability (Climate Change, Waste Management, Conservation)

• Urban Development and Planning Partnerships (Infrastructure, Housing, Transportation, Zoning)

• Social Development (Early Childhood, Social Support, Vulnerable Populations)

• Technology and Innovation Partnerships (Information Management, Digital Transformation)

Qualifications:

• High school or secondary school students with an interest in community development, education, and strategic partnerships.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Enthusiastic and proactive, with a passion for learning and community engagement.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Flexibility to adapt to various roles and responsibilities.

• Previous experience in volunteer roles or school-based projects is a plus.
