Job Description:

As a SayPro Strategic Fellow, you will play an essential role in supporting a wide range of initiatives and partnerships that drive impactful change in education, sustainability, community development, and more. The fellowships available cover multiple areas of strategic collaboration, from communications and human resources to policy strategy and organizational performance management.

We are looking for fellows who can contribute to and grow within specific fields, working alongside senior leaders, stakeholders, and various departments to develop solutions for today’s educational challenges.

Fellowship Areas Include:

• Communications & Customer Relations: Shape strategies that engage with students, parents, and the broader community to improve school partnerships and enhance communication.
• Policy & Strategy: Collaborate on high-impact projects to define policy initiatives, educational strategies, and innovations within secondary education.
• Human Resources & Organizational Performance: Support initiatives around employee engagement, resource management, and performance metrics.
• Sustainability & Environmental Impact: Join teams focused on climate change, sustainability practices, and promoting responsible development within the education sector.
• Emergency & Disaster Risk Management: Assist in building systems and strategies to safeguard the well-being of students and staff in the face of emergencies or natural disasters.
• Infrastructure & Facilities Management: Aid in planning and managing school facilities, parks, recreational spaces, and other vital infrastructure.
• Technology & Digital Learning: Support the adoption and integration of digital technologies to enhance educational outcomes.
• Community Engagement & Social Development: Contribute to efforts aimed at supporting vulnerable populations, improving social development, and fostering inclusive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals.
• Assist in research, analysis, and development of strategies related to the fellowship area.
• Help implement and monitor projects across a range of focus areas, ensuring alignment with SayPro’s mission.
• Provide administrative support and contribute to high-level meetings, workshops, and discussions.
• Engage with local schools, organizations, and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and community involvement.
• Participate in training, professional development, and capacity-building activities related to the fellowship focus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in education, public policy, business management, or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in education, community development, and strategic partnerships.
• Ability to work collaboratively in team settings.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Relevant experience or coursework in the specific fellowship area is a plus (communications, policy development, human resources).
