Key Purpose Statement
The Finance Manager (CO) role is responsible to:
Produce high quality, timely and compliant financial information
Deliver Statutory Reports
Govern the chart of accounts, policies and procedures for CCBA
The overall management of the group balance sheet
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Key Outputs and Accountabilities
Produce high quality, accurate, timely and compliant financial information
Define and execute key financial policies
Manage company chart of accounts
Owner of process and solution ensuring compliance to amend chart of accounts information
Ensure Country operates within Chart of Authority
Manage group balance sheet (non-operational)
Deliver statutory reporting requirements
Prepare Annual Financial Statements and manage interface with VGL and Group Office
Accounting and cost control (including recharges)
Provide the FP&A team with board and statutory reporting requirements
Support finance staff across the country, developing relevant long-term capability through coaching and training
Skills, Experience & Education
Judgements and decision making
Collaborate on key policies
Analytical assessment on P&L, balance sheet and cash flow optimisation
Recommendations on any improvements to policies and procedures
Coordinates the business planning process for VGL, in alignment with CCBA process and guidance
Ensure effective Finance policies, processes, practices and systems in country.
Qualifications and Experience
CA / CIMA / MBA or additional relevant qualifications advantageous
3 – 5 years relevant financial experience
Experience managing policies and the chart of accounts
SAP FI (or similar) experience
Strong knowledge on statutory requirements
