Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Faculty Advisor Manager to lead our faculty advisory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in academic advising and a passion for supporting faculty members in their professional development and academic endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective advisory strategies to support faculty members in their professional growth.
- Collaborate with academic departments to understand their needs and provide tailored advisory services.
- Manage the faculty advisory team, ensuring high standards of support and guidance.
- Conduct regular meetings with faculty members to discuss their goals, challenges, and development plans.
- Provide resources and support for faculty members to enhance their teaching, research, and service activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of advisory services and make necessary improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in academic advising and faculty development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic advising or faculty development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using advisory and academic support tools.
