Job Summary: 

The SayPro Content Management Services University Graduate Intern will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of content management, including strategy development, content creation, SEO optimization, and more. This role offers an opportunity to work on real-world projects, develop skills across a broad range of content-related tasks, and contribute to SayPro’s mission of empowering youth and communities. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

SayPro Content Strategy Development 

  • Content Audit: Evaluate existing content to identify strengths, weaknesses, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Goal Setting: Define clear content objectives that align with SayPro’s overarching business goals. 
  • Audience Research: Analyze target audience demographics, behaviors, and preferences to tailor content effectively. 
  • Content Calendar Creation: Develop and manage a content calendar that schedules content publication and promotional activities. 
  • Competitor Analysis: Study competitors’ content strategies to extract actionable insights and recommendations. 

SayPro Content Creation 

  • Article Writing: Write engaging and informative articles and blog posts tailored to SayPro’s audience. 
  • Copywriting: Craft persuasive and compelling copy for marketing materials, ads, and website content. 
  • Graphic Design: Design visuals, including infographics, banners, and social media images, to support content. 
  • Video Production: Assist in creating and editing corporate videos, explainer videos, and product demonstrations. 
  • Content Formatting: Format content to ensure consistency across various platforms and media types. 

SayPro Content Management System (CMS) Setup 

  • CMS Selection: Participate in the selection of the appropriate CMS platform (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla) based on project requirements. 
  • CMS Installation: Assist with installing and configuring the chosen CMS platform. 
  • Template Design: Support the design and customization of CMS templates and themes to align with SayPro’s branding. 
  • Plugin Integration: Help integrate plugins and extensions to enhance CMS functionality. 
  • User Management: Set up user roles and permissions within the CMS to ensure proper access control.

  • Content Inventory: Assist in cataloging existing content in preparation for migration to a new platform. 
  • Data Mapping: Participate in mapping content from old systems to the new CMS to ensure a smooth transition. 
  • Migration Execution: Help execute the migration of content to the new platform, ensuring accuracy and completeness. 
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to verify content accuracy and functionality post-migration. 
  • SEO Preservation: Ensure that important SEO elements such as URLs and meta tags are preserved during the migration process.

  • Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to identify and target relevant search terms.

Qualifications:
