Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. In Uganda, we are currently seeking to recruit a Cold Drink Equipment (CDE) Clerkat Namanve Plant in Kampala.
Asa CDE Clerk, you will report directly to the Team Leader Vtrack & CDE Replacement.
Key Purpose Statement
The Cold Drink Equipment Clerk provides administrative and logistical support to the cold drink equipment service team. This role ensures efficient scheduling, accurate record-keeping, and smooth coordination between technicians, customers, and inventory management to maintain and repair beverage dispensing equipment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare, organize, and maintain work orders, service records, and equipment logs.
Create, organize, and update service work orders, schedules, and equipment maintenance records.
Process incoming service requests and prioritize based on urgency and resources.
Track warranty information and assist in filing claims for defective equipment.
Ensure accurate data entry into service management systems.
Maintain documentation for equipment warranties and service contracts
Track and manage inventory levels of equipment parts and supplies.
Communicate work orders, service details, and customer requirements to technicians.
Review and process completed service reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Monitor adherence to company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Prepare periodic reports on service performance, costs, and inventory levels.
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum requirement: Diploma in refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent; additional training or certification in logistics, administration, or technical fields is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in administrative or customer service roles, ideally in a technical or equipment service environment
