The MSF movement is built around 5 operational centers supported by 24 sections and offices worldwide. MSF Operational Center Geneva (MSF OCG) is one of these centers. We are looking for an experimented HR Data Lead to join our HRIS Strategic Project. Under the supervision of the HRIS Program Manager, the HR Test Lead is responsible for leading the testing and quality assurance activities for the HRIS Program. The position works with the business subject matter experts and end users, HRIS Functional referents and IT business analysts, the Workday integrator and MSF integration and data engineers, infrastructure and security teams, to plan, design, coordinate the execution of testing and report of quality level. The Test lead manages and coordinates the test activities involved in deployment of Workday and its integration within the IT landscape (both on HQ and field side). They are responsible for the definition of the test strategy and coordination of its execution. Tasks & Responsibilities HRIS Test Lead will play a critical role in: Defining and sharing the global HRIS Test Strategy and Scope (risk analysis, roles and responsibilities, environment management, testing phases ideally incremental and iterative, test data management, resources and so on) Collaborates with the team and stakeholders to create test scenarios and cases that cover all requirements (functional and technical) and based on the risk analysis of all the changes made in information system landscape Plannig, coordinating and executing the testing activities with all stakeholders involved (HR subject matter experts and end users, HRIS Functional referents and IT business analysts, the Workday integrator and MSF integration and data engineers) Planning and coordinating the regression testing required on applications consuming HR data via integration such as Payroll application, Finance and Power BI reporting Reporting on progress of test execution, test results and follow up technical teams on defect resolution Evaluating and improving the testing process Management of quality assurance team members Your profile Education Tertiary degree in a related field such as Quality Assurance and Information Systems Certifications in testing and quality assurance such as ISTQB Experience Several years of experience in testing and quality assurance, ideally with HR information systems Experienced in working with Qualtiy Assurance tools such as Jira add-ons, Squash Experience with information systems and integration services such as API, ETL, File Transfers, web services with various technologies including Microsoft stack (Dynamics, PowerBI, MS Fabrics) Experience with Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies Languages English and French are the working languages of MSF Switzerland. Fluency in both English and French is required for this position (oral and written). Skills/ Technical competencies Project management skills and those specific to Quality Assurance. Expertise in Information Systems Quality Assurance Technical expertise in set up and management of Quality Assurance tools such as Jira add-ons, Squash Skills to translate test results into business impacts and prioritise defects in collaboration with business and program team Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities for quality assurance. Knowledge with HRIS platform, various HR systems and technologies are desirable Knowledge and understanding of HR processes and broader business operation are desirable Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, convey information and escalate issues and risks. Leadership skills Technical competencies to drive functional and non-functional testing Personal Abilities/Qualities A high level of attention to detail in managing and validating test activities. Analytical mindset for interpreting test results and interpret feedback from testers Ability to adapt to changes, especially in the context of HRIS implementation. Great teammate, eager to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Problem-solving skills, particularly in addressing QA-related challenges. Flexible mindset and ability to adapt Can identify opportunities to start testing as early as possible in the lifecycle Strong organizational skills for managing project timelines and deliverables. Excellent ability to work in a multicultural environment successfully and to demonstrate commitment and support for diversity, gender-responsive, inclusive, and non-discriminatory behaviour and attitudes. Terms of employment Full-time position 100% (40h/week) Fixed-term contract, 16 months Working place: Geneva, Switzerland Ideal start date: March 3rd, 2025 Gross annual salary (for 100%): from CHF 101’172.- to CHF 115’332.- (salary commensurate with equivalent experience and internal salary grid) Paid vacation: 25 days per year, prorate temporis, plus any Swiss public holidays falling within the contract period. Pension plan: pension contribution covered 3/4 by MSF, 1/4 by staff member. Relocation package if moving from a different country to Switzerland.
