Job Title: SayPro Website Services Officer – WordPress Installation and Setup

Position Overview: The SayPro Website Services Officer for WordPress Installation and Setup is responsible for delivering comprehensive website management services, including installation, configuration, customization, security, and ongoing support for WordPress sites. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the seamless operation, optimization, and security of websites for SayPro and its clients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

SayPro WordPress Installation and Setup:  

• Domain and Hosting Setup: Assist in domain registration and hosting setup. 

• WordPress Installation: Install WordPress on hosting servers and ensure proper configuration. 

• Basic Configuration: Configure essential settings, including site title, tagline, and permalink structure. 

• Theme Installation: Install and configure WordPress themes based on client preferences. 

SayPro Theme Customization: 

• Theme Selection: Provide guidance on selecting suitable themes for the site. 

• Theme Setup: Customize theme settings and options to meet client requirements. 

• CSS Customization: Modify the theme’s CSS to create a unique look and feel. 

• Layout Adjustments: Customize and adjust layout elements, widgets, and menus. 

SayPro Plugin Installation and Configuration: 

• Plugin Selection: Recommend and select essential plugins based on website requirements. 

• Plugin Installation: Install, activate, and configure plugins for additional functionalities. 

• Plugin Configuration: Configure plugin settings to align with site needs. 

• Plugin Updates: Keep plugins up-to-date for security and performance. 

SayPro Custom Plugin Development: 

• Requirements Analysis: Gather and document client-specific plugin requirements. 

• Custom Plugin Development: Develop tailored plugins to meet specific functionalities. 

• Testing: Test plugins for compatibility, functionality, and security. 

• Deployment and Support: Deploy plugins and provide ongoing technical support.

• Backup: Create full backups of the existing site before migration. 

• Migration Planning: Plan and oversee the site migration process. 

• Site Transfer: Transfer websites to new hosting environments or domains.

• Security Audit: Perform regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities. 

• Security Plugin Installation: Install and configure security plugins to safeguard the website. 

• Regular Updates: Ensure WordPress core, themes, and plugins are updated for security. 

• Backup Solutions: Implement automated backup solutions to prevent data loss.

• Speed Audit: Analyze website performance to detect and fix issues. 

• Caching Solutions: Install and configure caching plugins to improve load times. 

• Image Optimization: Optimize images for faster performance.

SayPro SEO Optimization: 

• SEO Plugin Configuration: Install and configure SEO plugins to enhance search rankings. 

• On-Page SEO: Optimize titles, meta descriptions, and header tags for better search visibility. 

• XML Sitemap Creation: Create and submit XML sitemaps to search engines. 

• SEO Audit: Conduct regular SEO audits to improve search engine performance.

• Content Creation: Format and publish content for pages and posts.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and basic PHP for customizations.
