Position Overview:
As a Resource Mobilisation Volunteer at SayPro, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization’s resource mobilization efforts. This volunteer position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic planning, fundraising, partnership development, and more, all while contributing to meaningful projects that make a difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
1.SayPro Strategic Planning:
– Identify and assess the organization’s resource needs.
– Develop a strategic plan for mobilizing resources aligned with SayPro’s goals.
– Evaluate risks associated with resource mobilization and plan resource allocation efficiently.
2.SayPro Fundraising Campaigns:
– Develop and plan innovative fundraising campaigns.
– Reach out to potential donors and sponsors.
– Implement and track donations during campaigns across various channels.
– Analyze and report on the effectiveness of fundraising efforts.
3.SayPro Grant Writing and Management:
– Research potential grant opportunities and funding sources.
– Write and submit compelling grant proposals.
– Oversee the administration and compliance of grant funds.
– Prepare and submit progress and financial reports.
4.SayPro Sponsorship Acquisition:
– Identify and approach potential sponsors for SayPro’s events and initiatives.
– Develop and negotiate sponsorship proposals and agreements.
– Maintain strong relationships with sponsors and report on sponsorship outcomes.
5.SayPro Crowdfunding:
– Select appropriate crowdfunding platforms and develop campaigns.
– Promote campaigns, engage with backers, and manage funds raised.
6.SayPro Corporate Partnerships:
– Identify and cultivate corporate partnerships.
– Develop proposals, negotiate agreements, and manage these partnerships effectively.
– Measure and report on the impact of corporate partnerships.
7.SayPro Volunteer Recruitment and Management:
– Develop recruitment strategies and coordinate volunteer activities.
– Provide training, recognize contributions, and evaluate volunteer performance.
8.SayPro Donor Management:
– Maintain a donor database, segment donors, and develop retention strategies.
– Regularly communicate with donors about the impact of their contributions.
9.SayPro Asset Management:
– Track, allocate, and maintain organizational assets.
– Manage the disposal or sale of surplus assets.
10.SayPro Government Funding and Support:
– Identify and apply for government grants and funding.
– Ensure compliance with regulations and develop partnerships with government agencies.
11.SayPro Membership Programs:
– Develop recruitment strategies, engage members, and manage renewals.
– Collect and act on member feedback.
12.SayPro Event Management:
– Plan, promote, and execute fundraising events.
– Secure sponsorships and evaluate event success.
13.SayPro Marketing and Outreach:
– Develop marketing strategies and create content for SayPro’s campaigns.
– Engage with the community to build support and enhance visibility.
14.SayPro Strategic Alliances:
– Build and manage alliances with other organizations.
– Develop collaborative projects and share resources with partners.
15.SayPro Financial Management:
– Develop and manage budgets for resource mobilization activities.
– Prepare financial reports and manage cash flow.
16.SayPro Technology and Tools:
– Implement and manage CRM systems and fundraising software.
– Utilize data analytics to track and optimize resource mobilization efforts.
17.SayPro Capacity Building:
– Develop training programs for staff and volunteers.
– Foster skill development, leadership, and organizational strengthening.
18.SayPro Legal and Compliance:
– Draft and review legal agreements, ensure compliance, and manage contracts.
– Handle tax-related issues and protect intellectual property.
19.SayPro Impact Assessment:
– Measure and report on the impact of resource mobilization efforts.
– Collect feedback and continuously improve strategies.
20.SayPro Strategic Communication:
– Develop and implement communication plans for resource mobilization.
– Engage stakeholders, manage media relations, and craft compelling messages.
Qualifications:
– Passion for nonprofit work and community development.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Experience in any of the areas mentioned is a plus but not required.
