Position Overview:
SayPro is seeking a motivated and dedicated Resource Mobilisation TVET College Graduate Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in strategic planning, fundraising, grant writing, sponsorship acquisition, corporate partnerships, and more. As a Resource Mobilisation Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting SayPro’s efforts to mobilize resources and ensure the successful implementation of our programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1.SayPro Strategic Planning:
– Conduct resource needs assessments and develop strategic plans for resource mobilization.
– Align resource mobilization strategies with SayPro’s organizational goals.
– Evaluate risks and plan the efficient allocation of resources to meet objectives.
2.SayPro Fundraising Campaigns:
– Assist in the development and execution of fundraising campaigns.
– Identify and reach out to potential donors and sponsors.
– Track donations and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
3.SayPro Grant Writing and Management:
– Research potential grant opportunities and funding sources.
– Assist in writing and submitting grant proposals.
– Manage grant funds, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
4.SayPro Sponsorship Acquisition:
– Identify potential sponsors for SayPro’s events and initiatives.
– Develop and present sponsorship proposals.
– Maintain relationships with sponsors and report on sponsorship outcomes.
5.SayPro Crowdfunding:
– Assist in selecting platforms and setting up crowdfunding campaigns.
– Promote campaigns and engage with donors throughout the process.
– Manage and distribute funds raised through crowdfunding efforts.
6.SayPro Corporate Partnerships:
– Identify and approach potential corporate partners.
– Develop partnership proposals and negotiate agreements.
– Manage and measure the impact of corporate partnerships.
7.SayPro Volunteer Recruitment and Management:
– Develop strategies for recruiting and training volunteers.
– Coordinate volunteer activities and recognize their contributions.
– Collect feedback and evaluate volunteer performance.
8.SayPro Donor Management:
– Maintain and update a database of donors and their contributions.
– Develop donor retention strategies and communicate regularly with donors.
9.SayPro Asset Management:
– Track and manage SayPro’s physical assets and resources.
– Ensure proper maintenance and allocate assets effectively.
10.SayPro Government Funding and Support:
– Identify government funding opportunities and apply for grants.
– Develop partnerships with government agencies and ensure compliance with regulations.
11.SayPro Membership Programs:
– Assist in recruiting and engaging with SayPro members.
– Manage membership renewals and collect feedback from members.
12.SayPro Event Management:
– Plan and organize fundraising events.
– Promote events, secure sponsorships, and manage event execution.
– Evaluate the success and impact of events.
13.SayPro Marketing and Outreach:
– Develop marketing strategies to support resource mobilization.
– Create content for SayPro’s website, social media, and other channels.
– Engage with the community to build support and awareness.
14.SayPro Strategic Alliances:
– Build and manage strategic alliances with other organizations.
– Develop collaborative projects and share resources with allies.
15.SayPro Financial Management:
– Assist in budgeting and managing funds for resource mobilization activities.
– Prepare financial reports and monitor cash flow.
16.SayPro Technology and Tools:
– Utilize CRM systems and fundraising software to streamline operations.
– Employ digital tools and platforms for effective communication and management.
17.SayPro Capacity Building:
– Participate in training programs to enhance skills in resource mobilization.
– Support organizational strengthening and leadership development initiatives.
18.SayPro Legal and Compliance:
– Assist in drafting legal agreements and ensuring compliance with regulations.
– Manage contracts with donors, sponsors, and partners.
19.SayPro Impact Assessment:
– Measure and report on the impact of resource mobilization efforts.
– Use assessment data to improve strategies and performance metrics.
20.SayPro Strategic Communication:
– Develop and implement communication plans for resource mobilization.
– Engage with stakeholders and manage media relations.
Qualifications:
– TVET College Graduate in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, etc.).
– Strong communication and organizational skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Passion for community development and youth empowerment.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
