Job Overview:
The SayPro Resource Mobilisation Officer will play a crucial role in securing the resources necessary to achieve our organizational goals. This position involves strategic planning, fundraising, grant writing, sponsorship acquisition, and more. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for making a difference, skilled in building relationships and mobilizing resources.
Key Responsibilities:
1.SayPro Strategic Planning
– Conduct resource needs assessments and develop strategic plans for resource mobilization.
– Align resource mobilization strategies with organizational goals and assess associated risks.
– Efficiently allocate resources to meet objectives.
2.SayPro Fundraising Campaigns
– Develop and execute fundraising campaigns, including donor outreach and engagement.
– Track donations and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising efforts.
3.SayPro Grant Writing and Management
– Research and identify grant opportunities, write proposals, and manage grant funds.
– Ensure compliance with grant requirements and prepare progress and financial reports.
4.SayPro Sponsorship Acquisition
– Identify potential sponsors, develop proposals, and negotiate agreements.
– Maintain relationships with sponsors and report on outcomes.
5.SayPro Crowdfunding
– Select appropriate crowdfunding platforms, develop campaigns, and engage with backers.
– Manage and distribute funds raised through crowdfunding efforts.
6.SayPro Corporate Partnerships
– Identify and approach potential corporate partners, develop proposals, and manage partnerships.
– Measure and report on the impact of corporate partnerships.
7.SayPro Volunteer Recruitment and Management
– Develop recruitment strategies, provide training, and coordinate volunteer activities.
– Recognize and reward volunteers, and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
8.SayPro Donor Management
– Maintain a donor database, segment donors, and develop retention strategies.
– Communicate regularly with donors and acknowledge their contributions.
9.SayPro Asset Management
– Track, allocate, and maintain organizational assets.
– Manage the disposal or sale of surplus or outdated assets.
10.SayPro Government Funding and Support
– Identify and apply for government grants, ensure compliance, and manage public sector partnerships.
– Advocate for policies that support resource mobilization.
11.SayPro Membership Programs
– Develop strategies to recruit and engage members, manage renewals, and collect feedback.
12.SayPro Event Management
– Plan, promote, and execute fundraising events, secure sponsorships, and evaluate success.
13.SayPro Marketing and Outreach
– Develop marketing strategies, create content, and manage public relations efforts.
– Engage with the community to build support and awareness.
14.SayPro Strategic Alliances
– Build and manage strategic alliances, develop collaborative projects, and assess their impact.
15.SayPro Financial Management
– Develop and manage budgets, prepare financial reports, and monitor cash flow.
– Develop investment strategies to achieve financial goals.
16.SayPro Technology and Tools
– Implement and manage CRM systems, fundraising software, and data analytics tools.
– Leverage digital tools for effective communication and management.
17.SayPro Capacity Building
– Develop and deliver training programs, provide skill development opportunities, and strengthen organizational capacity.
18.SayPro Legal and Compliance
– Draft and review legal agreements, ensure compliance with regulations, and manage contracts.
19.SayPro Impact Assessment
– Measure the impact of resource mobilization efforts, report on outcomes, and use data to improve strategies.
20.SayPro Strategic Communication
– Develop and execute communication plans, engage with stakeholders, and manage media relations.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
– Proven experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, or a similar role.
– Strong strategic planning, project management, and communication skills.
– Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.
– Experience with CRM systems, fundraising software, and data analytics tools.
– Understanding of legal and compliance issues related to resource mobilization.
