An exciting opportunity has become available within the Construction Services industry, for a Programme Manager with our client based in Cape Town.
Duties & Responsibilities
This role is in essence a Programme Manager role
20% of the position will be relating to normal QS functions
Assisting with the managing, administering and monitoring the delivery of various projects from inception to close out as well as supporting contractors to successfully deliver these projects
Construction Support Management on Capital and Maintenance Projects
Lead, manage and oversee the Programmes by:
Communicating regarding FCA progress to the Department Manager
Communicating with Suppliers, consultants and principle agents
Assisting in drafting reports
Ensuring that reporting deadlines are met and adhered to
General Management
Driving and influencing team, clearly setting goals, monitoring performance and progress regularly against target goals.
Take the lead in working with a variety of influential internal and external, company stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
Provide guidance to the team.
Fostering an environment of co-operation, communication and customer service
Developing and encouraging teamwork and learning
Desired Experience & Qualification
In-depth experience in construction
Programme Management / Project Management experience
Qualifications in Quantity Surveying essential
PrQS registered with SACQSP
