Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated State Owned Entities Fellow to join our team. The Fellow will work closely with SayPro’s partners to support and enhance the performance of state-owned entities. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public sector management, project coordination, and strategic partnership development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Project Implementation: Assist in the development, execution, and evaluation of projects aimed at improving the operational efficiency and effectiveness of state-owned entities.
• Partnership Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and community organizations to foster strong and productive partnerships.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct research on best practices, emerging trends, and policy developments relevant to state-owned entities. Prepare reports and presentations to inform strategic decisions.
• Capacity Building: Support the design and delivery of training programs and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of personnel within state-owned entities.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Assist in tracking project progress, evaluating outcomes, and identifying areas for improvement. Provide recommendations for optimizing performance and impact.
• Communication and Outreach: Engage with stakeholders to promote SayPro’s initiatives, gather feedback, and share success stories. Represent SayPro at relevant meetings, conferences, and events.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, Political Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or coursework in public sector management is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience or internships related to public sector management, project coordination, or partnership development is desirable.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attributes: Self-starter with a passion for public service, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to driving positive change in state-owned entities.
