Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Education Centre Specialist to join our team. This role will involve coordinating educational programs, building community partnerships, and ensuring the Centre serves as a valuable resource for our local population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement community-focused educational programs and workshops.
• Foster partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to enhance educational offerings.
• Assess community needs and interests to tailor programs accordingly.
• Coordinate events, trainings, and resource sharing initiatives.
• Manage outreach efforts to increase community engagement and participation.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain records of programs, attendance, and participant feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Community Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in community outreach, program development, or educational roles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with community resources and educational best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
