Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Community Education Centers Manager to lead our network of education centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community engagement, educational programming, and partnership development. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our programs and ensuring they meet the needs of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple Community Education Centers.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and workshops tailored to community needs.
- Foster partnerships with local organizations, schools, and stakeholders to enhance program offerings.
- Manage and mentor a team of educators and support staff, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Monitor and assess program effectiveness, gathering feedback to inform continuous improvement.
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Advocate for community needs and represent SayPro in community meetings and events.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Community Development, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in community education or program management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain partnerships with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with community assessment and program evaluation methods.
- Passion for education and community development.
