Position Overview: The Municipality Partnership Owned Entities Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the performance of entities owned or partnered with the municipality. This role involves overseeing partnerships, ensuring alignment with municipal goals, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for managing municipality-owned entities and partnerships.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of these entities to ensure they meet established goals and objectives.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present reports on entity performance, challenges, and opportunities to municipal leadership.
• Facilitate the development of new partnerships and enhance existing relationships to support municipal objectives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Provide support and guidance to entity managers and staff, including training and development as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in managing partnerships, strategic planning, or overseeing organizational performance, preferably within a municipal or public sector environment.
• Strong understanding of municipal operations, policies, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
