About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelancer to join our team and support the management and development of partnerships with municipality-owned entities. As a Municipality Partnership Owned Entities Freelancer, you will be responsible for fostering and maintaining strategic relationships between municipal governments and their associated entities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage partnerships between municipalities and their owned entities, including utilities, transportation services, housing authorities, and other public enterprises.
• Conduct research and analysis on best practices in municipal partnership management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, and discussions between municipal officials and entity representatives to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Draft and review partnership agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report on the performance of partnerships, identifying opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of municipality-owned entities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of partnership initiatives into broader municipal programs.
• Provide ongoing support and advisory services to municipal entities on partnership-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in partnership management, particularly within the public sector or with municipality-owned entities.
• Strong understanding of municipal governance structures and the role of public enterprises.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts and partnership agreements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Flexibility to work remotely with occasional travel to various municipalities as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working directly with municipal governments or public sector organizations.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks governing municipal partnerships.
• Familiarity with municipal service delivery models and public-private partnerships (PPPs).
