Job Summary:
The Municipality Partnership Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships between the municipality and various stakeholders, including private sector entities, non-profit organizations, and other governmental agencies. This role is crucial for driving collaborative initiatives that enhance community development, public services, and sustainable urban growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public administration, partnership management, and a deep understanding of municipal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development: Identify, establish, and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to support municipal objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with community leaders, business representatives, and governmental agencies to align partnership goals with municipal needs.
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate partnership projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with municipal policies and objectives.
- Contract Negotiation: Oversee the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop metrics and evaluation frameworks to monitor the effectiveness and impact of partnerships.
- Resource Mobilization: Identify and secure funding opportunities to support partnership initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and municipal councils on partnership activities and outcomes.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of policies that foster effective partnerships and community engagement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in partnership management, municipal administration, or a related role.
- Skills:
