Job Summary:
The SayPro Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Strategic Planning Specialist will be pivotal in shaping and guiding the organisation’s strategic planning efforts. This position involves evaluating and aligning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with organisational deliverables, providing strategic advisory services, and offering expertise in developing and managing key strategic documents. The Specialist will work closely with senior management to ensure that strategic plans are effectively designed, implemented, and monitored.
Key Responsibilities:
SayPro Strategic Planning KPI versus Deliverables:
– Develop and implement methodologies for assessing the alignment of KPIs with organisational deliverables.
– Monitor and analyse performance data to ensure that strategic objectives are met and provide insights for realignment when necessary.
– Prepare and present reports on KPI performance, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
SayPro Strategic Planning Advisory:
– Provide expert advice and support to senior management on strategic planning processes and best practices.
– Facilitate strategic planning workshops and sessions to guide the formulation and refinement of organisational strategies.
– Analyze internal and external factors affecting strategic plans and offer recommendations to enhance strategic direction and effectiveness.
SayPro Strategic Planning and Key Documents Advisory:
– Advise on creating and enhancing key strategic documents, such as strategic plans, business cases, and implementation roadmaps.
– Ensure that all strategic documents are aligned with organisational goals, are thorough, and adhere to relevant standards and frameworks.
– Review and provide feedback on strategic documents to ensure they are clear, coherent, and sound.
SayPro Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Public Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
– Minimum of [X] years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or a similar role.
– Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing KPIs, strategic planning processes, and key strategic documents.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and align it with strategic objectives.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, proven ability to convey complex strategic concepts effectively.
– Experience in facilitating strategic planning sessions and providing advisory support to senior management.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
