Job Summary:
The SayPro Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Reporting Officer will oversee data investigation, auditing, and inspection processes within the organization. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data collected and reported. The Reporting Officer will also present findings in a clear and actionable format to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
SayPro Data Investigation:
– Conduct thorough investigations into data discrepancies and anomalies.
– Utilize advanced analytical techniques to identify underlying issues affecting data quality.
– Collaborate with data collection teams to understand data entry processes and resolve issues.
SayPro Data Auditing:
– Perform regular data audits to ensure compliance with organisational standards and protocols.
– Develop and implement audit procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of data.
– Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
SayPro Data Inspection:
– Examine data sets for consistency, accuracy, and validity.
– Identify and rectify data errors or inconsistencies in collaboration with relevant departments.
– Implement and monitor data quality control measures.
SayPro Findings Presentations:
– Compile and analyse audit and inspection findings into comprehensive reports.
– Develop visual aids (charts, graphs, dashboards) to communicate data insights effectively.
– Present findings to management and stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
SayPro Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
– Proven experience in data analysis, auditing, and reporting, preferably within a non-profit or similar organisational setting.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex data issues.
– Proficiency in data management software and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data quickly.
– Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
