Role Overview:
We seek a motivated University Graduate Intern to support our Monitoring and Evaluation team. The intern will assist in designing, implementing, and managing M&E systems tailored to marketing initiatives. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in M&E systems, data analysis, and strategic planning within a dynamic work environment.
SayPro Key Responsibilities:
SayPro M&E Systems Design & Implementation:
– Assist in assessing marketing strategy requirements to determine M&E system needs.
– Support developing and customising M&E frameworks and tools to meet marketing objectives.
– Help design data collection methods and reporting formats to evaluate marketing performance.
– Contribute to integrating M&E systems into existing marketing workflows and platforms.
– Participate in training marketing staff on the use and benefits of M&E systems.
– Monitor system performance and assist in making adjustments for optimisation.
SayPro System Management:
– Aid in deploying M&E systems across marketing operations.
– Perform routine maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
– Assist in addressing and resolving technical issues and system errors.
– Support the updating of software and system components to maintain performance.
– Help manage user access and permissions to safeguard data integrity.
SayPro Chief Marketing Officer Duties:
– Support the development of comprehensive marketing strategies and plans.
– Assist in overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
– Help manage and allocate marketing budgets as directed.
– Track and analyse performance metrics to assess campaign success.
– Coordinate with other departments to ensure marketing efforts align with organisational goals.
SayPro Reports and Data Management:
– Assist in compiling and generating reports on marketing performance and M&E outcomes.
– Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
– Ensure accuracy and timeliness in data reporting to stakeholders.
– Contribute to developing visual dashboards and presentations to communicate findings.
– Help maintain a secure and organised data repository for historical records.
SayPro Data Tracking & Analytics:
– Support tracking systems for key marketing metrics and M&E indicators.
– Conduct regular data assessments and sampling to ensure data quality.
– Assist in performing advanced analytics to evaluate marketing effectiveness and ROI.
– Interpret data results and provide insights for refining marketing strategies.
– Utilize analytics tools and software to support data-driven decision-making.
SayPro Plans Review & Advisory:
– Review annual performance plans for marketing and M&E to ensure alignment with objectives.
– Provide support in strategic planning and performance enhancement activities.
– Analyze data insights to inform recommendations for strategic adjustments.
– Assist in facilitating strategy sessions and workshops for plan development and review.
– Monitor the implementation of strategic recommendations and track their impact.
SayPro Departmental Monitoring & Evaluation:
– Support the monitoring of departmental activities to ensure they meet organisational goals.
– Assist in evaluating departmental performance against set targets and KPIs.
– Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
– Help implement and track corrective measures to enhance departmental efficiency.
– Conduct periodic reviews to support continuous improvement.
SayPro Revenue Generation:
– Assist in developing and implementing strategies to boost revenue through marketing initiatives.
– Monitor and analyse revenue streams to optimise marketing efforts.
– Evaluate the effectiveness of revenue-generating campaigns and strategies.
– Identify new revenue opportunities and market trends.
– Contribute to reporting on revenue performance and making recommendations for improvements.
SayPro Strategic Plans Monitoring:
– Track the progress of strategic plans set by Chiefs.
– Ensure that strategic plans align with overall organisational objectives.
– Provide regular progress reports on the execution of strategic plans.
– Evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives on organisational performance.
– Recommend adjustments to strategic plans based on monitoring results.
SayPro Qualifications:
– Recent graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
– Strong interest in Monitoring and Evaluation, data analysis, and marketing.
– Familiarity with data collection, analysis techniques, and reporting tools.
– Basic understanding of marketing strategies and metrics.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
