Role Overview:
The Monitoring Officer will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and management of M&E systems specific to marketing. This role involves developing and maintaining systems to monitor and evaluate marketing performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
M&E Systems Design & Implementation:
– Assess marketing strategy needs to determine M&E system requirements.
– Develop and customise M&E frameworks and tools tailored to specific marketing needs.
– Design and implement data collection methods and reporting formats to track marketing performance.
– Integrate M&E systems seamlessly into existing marketing workflows and platforms.
– Train marketing staff on the use and benefits of M&E systems.
– Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimise effectiveness.
SayPro System Management:
– Deploy M&E systems across marketing operations, ensuring smooth integration.
– Perform regular system maintenance to maintain reliability and efficiency.
– Address and resolve technical issues and system errors on time.
– Update software and system components to ensure continued compatibility and performance.
– Manage user access and permissions to safeguard data integrity.
SayPro Chief Marketing Officer Duties:
– Support the development of comprehensive marketing strategies and plans.
– Assist in overseeing the execution of innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives.
– Aid in managing and allocating marketing budgets effectively.
– Track and analyse performance metrics to measure campaign success.
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure marketing efforts align with organisational goals.
SayPro Reports and Data Management:
– Compile and generate detailed reports on marketing performance and M&E outcomes.
– Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
– Ensure accuracy and timeliness when reporting data to stakeholders.
– Develop visual dashboards and presentations to communicate findings.
– Maintain a secure and organised repository for historical data records.
SayPro Data Tracking & Analytics:
– Implement and manage tracking systems for key marketing metrics and M&E indicators.
– Conduct regular data assessments and sampling to ensure data quality.
– Perform advanced analytics to evaluate marketing effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
– Interpret data results and provide actionable insights to refine marketing strategies.
– Utilize analytics tools and software to enhance data-driven decision-making.
SayPro Plans Review & Advisory:
– Review and assess annual performance plans for marketing and M&E to ensure alignment with objectives.
– Provide expert advice on strategic planning and performance enhancement.
– Analyze data insights to make recommendations for strategic adjustments.
– Facilitate strategy sessions and workshops for plan development and review.
– Monitor and track the implementation of strategic recommendations and assess their impact.
SayPro Departmental Monitoring & Evaluation:
– Monitor departmental activities to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
– Evaluate departmental performance against established targets and KPIs.
– Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
– Implement and track corrective measures to improve departmental efficiency.
– Conduct periodic reviews to ensure ongoing improvement.
SayPro Revenue Generation:
– Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue through marketing initiatives.
– Monitor and analyse revenue streams to optimise marketing efforts.
– Evaluate the effectiveness of revenue-generating campaigns and strategies.
– Identify new revenue opportunities and emerging market trends.
– Report on revenue performance and make recommendations for improvements.
SayPro Strategic Plans Monitoring:
– Track the implementation of strategic plans set by Chiefs.
– Ensure that strategic plans align with overall organisational objectives.
– Provide regular progress reports on the execution of strategic plans.
– Evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives on organisational performance.
– Recommend adjustments to strategic plans based on monitoring results.
SayPro Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
– Proven experience in M&E systems design and implementation, especially within marketing.
– Strong understanding of marketing strategies, data analytics, and reporting systems.
– Experience with data tracking and analytics tools.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and technical proficiency.
– Strong communication skills, with the ability to train staff and present findings effectively.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
