Role Overview:
The Monitoring Manager will be crucial in designing, implementing, and managing Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems tailored to our marketing operations. This position requires strategic insight, technical proficiency, and leadership skills to ensure our M&E frameworks align with marketing objectives and drive performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
M&E Systems Design & Implementation:
– Assess marketing strategy requirements to define M&E system needs.
– Develop and customise M&E frameworks and tools specific to marketing goals.
– Design and implement data collection methods and reporting formats to evaluate marketing performance.
– Integrate M&E systems into existing marketing workflows and platforms.
– Train marketing staff on the use and benefits of new M&E systems.
– Monitor system performance and adjust configurations for optimal effectiveness.
SayPro System Management:
– Deploy M&E systems across marketing operations and ensure seamless integration.
– Perform regular maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
– Address and resolve technical issues and system errors promptly.
– Update software and system components to ensure compatibility and performance.
– Manage user access and permissions to protect data integrity.
SayPro Chief Marketing Officer Duties:
– Collaborate in the development of comprehensive marketing strategies and plans.
– Oversee execution of innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives.
– Manage and allocate marketing budgets effectively.
– Track and analyse performance metrics to gauge campaign success.
– Coordinate with other departments to align marketing efforts with organisational goals.
SayPro Reports and Data Management:
– Compile and generate reports on marketing performance and M&E outcomes.
– Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
– Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data reporting to stakeholders.
– Develop visual dashboards and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
– Maintain a secure and organised data repository for historical records.
SayPro Data Tracking & Analytics:
– Implement tracking systems for key marketing metrics and M&E indicators.
– Conduct regular data assessments and sampling to ensure data quality.
– Perform advanced data analytics to evaluate marketing effectiveness and ROI.
– Interpret data results and provide actionable insights for strategy refinement.
– Utilize analytics tools and software to enhance data-driven decision-making.
SayPro Plans Review & Advisory:
– Review annual performance plans for marketing and M&E to ensure alignment with objectives.
– Provide expert advice on strategic planning and performance enhancement.
– Analyze data insights to inform recommendations for strategic adjustments.
– Facilitate strategy sessions and workshops for plan development and review.
– Monitor the implementation of strategic recommendations and track their impact.
SayPro Departmental Monitoring & Evaluation:
– Monitor departmental activities to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
– Evaluate departmental performance against set targets and KPIs.
– Identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
– Implement and track corrective measures to enhance departmental efficiency.
– Conduct periodic reviews and evaluations to ensure continuous improvement.
SayPro Revenue Generation:
– Develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue through marketing initiatives.
– Monitor and analyse revenue streams to optimise marketing efforts.
– Evaluate the effectiveness of revenue-generating campaigns and strategies.
– Identify new revenue opportunities and market trends.
– Report on revenue performance and recommend improvements.
SayPro Strategic Plans Monitoring:
– Track the implementation progress of strategic plans set by Chiefs.
– Ensure strategic plans align with overall organisational objectives.
– Provide regular progress reports on strategic plan execution.
– Evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives on organisational performance.
– Recommend adjustments to strategic plans based on monitoring results.
SayPro Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
– Proven experience in M&E systems design and implementation, particularly in marketing.
– Strong understanding of marketing strategies and data analysis techniques.
– Experience with data tracking, analytics tools, and reporting systems.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
– Strong communication and training abilities.
– Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
