Job Overview:
SayPro seeks a knowledgeable and proactive Monitoring and Evaluation Learning Officer to drive learning and continuous improvement within our organisation. This role focuses on extracting insights from M&E activities, identifying best practices, and leveraging lessons learned to enhance decision-making and future planning. The Learning Officer will play a key role in fostering a learning culture and ensuring that M&E insights are effectively used to improve organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
SayPro Monitoring and Evaluation Insights:
– Analyze data and findings from M&E activities to generate actionable insights.
– Identify trends, patterns, and key takeaways that inform organisational strategies and decisions.
SayPro Best Practices Identification:
– Research and document best practices in monitoring and evaluation across similar programs and sectors.
– Develop and disseminate guidelines and recommendations for adopting these best practices within the organisation.
SayPro Lessons Learned:
– Capture and document lessons learned from past projects and evaluations.
– Facilitate learning sessions and workshops to share lessons learned with relevant stakeholders.
SayPro Learning Areas of Improvement:
– Identify areas where learning and development can enhance M&E processes and program effectiveness.
– Develop strategies and initiatives to address these areas of improvement.
SayPro Decision-Making Support:
– Provide insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making processes.
– Collaborate with leadership and program managers to integrate M&E insights into strategic and operational decisions.
SayPro Future Planning:
– Use M&E insights to contribute to future planning and strategy development.
– Assist in designing and refining future programs and initiatives based on learned experiences and best practices.
SayPro Knowledge Management:
– Develop and maintain a knowledge management system for storing and sharing M&E insights, best practices, and lessons learned.
– Ensure that valuable information is accessible and utilised effectively across the organisation.
SayPro Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
– Significant experience in monitoring and evaluation, with a strong focus on learning and knowledge management.
– Proven ability to analyse M&E data and generate actionable insights.
– Experience in identifying and implementing best practices and lessons learned.
– Strong decision-making skills and ability to support future planning with data-driven recommendations.
– Excellent communication and facilitation skills for sharing knowledge and fostering a learning culture.
