Position Overview:
SayPro offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated University Graduate Intern to join our Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team. As an Evaluation Intern, you will assist with designing and implementing evaluation methodologies, analyzing data, and generating reports to assess our programs’ impact, effectiveness, and outcomes. This internship is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or current students to gain hands-on experience in the field of M&E while contributing to meaningful program improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
SayPro Impact Assessment Evaluation
– Assist in designing and implementing methodologies for assessing the impact of various programs.
– Support the collection and analysis of data related to program impacts, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
– Help prepare impact reports highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.
– Participate in conducting stakeholder interviews to gather insights on program effects.
– Review and analyse impact data against predefined benchmarks and goals to evaluate program success.
SayPro Programme/Service Effectiveness Evaluation
– Aid in developing criteria and metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of programs and services.
– Conduct surveys and focus groups to collect feedback from program participants and stakeholders.
– Analyze effectiveness data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in program services.
– Contribute to generating effectiveness reports with actionable insights for program enhancement.
– Monitor and review changes made to improve program effectiveness and assess their impact.
SayPro Assessment Evaluation
– Support the creation of assessment tools and frameworks tailored to specific programs.
– Assist in conducting periodic assessments to evaluate program performance.
– Review and interpret assessment data, sharing findings with relevant stakeholders and teams.
– Help recommend strategies for addressing gaps or issues to enhance program performance.
SayPro Impact Studies Evaluation
– Assist in designing and executing impact studies to explore the long-term effects of programs.
– Utilize quantitative and qualitative research methods to gather data for impact studies.
– Analyze study results to measure the program’s influence on target populations.
– Document and present study findings through reports and presentations.
– Collaborate with external researchers to ensure comprehensive impact analysis.
SayPro Outcomes Evaluation
– Help define clear, measurable outcomes for each program or service.
– Track and assess the achievement of desired outcomes and evaluate the relationship between program activities and results.
– Provide outcome-based feedback to program managers and stakeholders to support decision-making.
– Assist in adjusting program strategies based on outcome evaluation results to improve program effectiveness.
SayPro Strategic and Key Documents Evaluation
– Review strategic plans and critical documents to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
– Assess the relevance and effectiveness of strategies outlined in strategic documents.
– Support the updating and revising of strategic documents based on evaluation findings.
– Ensure documentation meets regulatory and organisational standards and communicate changes to stakeholders.
SayPro Programme Timeline Review
– Assist in monitoring and reviewing program timelines and milestones.
– Help assess adherence to project schedules and deadlines.
– Identify and address delays or deviations from planned timelines.
– Update timeline projections based on current progress and changes.
– Report on timeline adherence and recommend adjustments as needed.
SayPro Areas of Improvement Review / Resolutions Evaluation
– Identify areas needing improvement through evaluations and feedback analysis.
– Assist in developing and implementing action plans to address identified issues.
– Monitor the effectiveness of resolution strategies and conduct follow-up reviews to assess improvements.
– Report on resolutions and their impact on program performance.
SayPro Qualifications:
– Recent graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Statistics, or a related field.
– Strong analytical skills with an interest in data analysis and research methods.
– Familiarity with survey design, focus groups, and stakeholder engagement.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively with team members and external partners.
– Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
