Position Overview:
SayPro seeks an experienced and analytical Evaluation Specialist to enhance our Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) efforts. The Evaluation Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing evaluation methodologies to assess our programs’ impacts, effectiveness, and outcomes. This role requires a strong background in impact assessment, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, focusing on generating actionable insights and ensuring continuous improvement in program performance.

Key Responsibilities:

SayPro Impact Assessment Evaluation
– Design and implement robust impact assessment methodologies to evaluate the effects and outcomes of programs.
– Collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data related to program impacts.
– Prepare detailed impact reports highlighting key findings, trends, and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
– Conduct interviews and gather stakeholder feedback to assess program effects and qualitative insights.
– Review impact data against predefined benchmarks and goals to measure program success and areas for improvement.

SayPro Programme/Service Effectiveness Evaluation
– Develop criteria and metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of programs and services.
– Conduct surveys, focus groups, and other data collection methods to gather feedback from program participants and stakeholders.
– Analyze effectiveness data to identify program strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
– Generate effectiveness reports with clear, actionable insights to guide program enhancements.
– Monitor and review changes implemented to improve program effectiveness, evaluating their impact and success.

SayPro Assessment Evaluation
– Create tailored assessment tools and frameworks to evaluate the performance of specific programs.
– Conduct periodic assessments to measure and review program performance against established criteria.
– Interpret assessment data and share findings with relevant stakeholders and teams.
– Recommend strategies for addressing identified gaps or issues to enhance program performance and effectiveness.

SayPro Impact Studies Evaluation
– Design and execute comprehensive impact studies to explore the long-term effects of programs on target populations.
– Utilize various quantitative and qualitative research methods to gather and analyse data.
– Document and disseminate study findings through detailed reports and presentations.
– Collaborate with external researchers and partners to ensure thorough and accurate impact analysis.

SayPro Outcomes Evaluation
– Define measurable outcomes for each program or service, aligning with organisational objectives.
– Track and assess the achievement of desired outcomes and evaluate the relationship between program activities and results.
– Provide outcome-based feedback to program managers and stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
– Adjust program strategies based on outcome evaluation results to improve program impact and effectiveness.

SayPro Strategic and Key Documents Evaluation
– Review strategic plans and key documents to ensure they align with organisational objectives and program goals.
– Assess the relevance and effectiveness of strategies and actions outlined in strategic documents.
– Update and revise strategic documents based on evaluation findings to maintain relevance and compliance with standards.
– Communicate changes and updates to relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.

SayPro Programme Timeline Review
– Monitor and review program timelines and milestones to ensure project schedule and deadline adherence.
– Assess and address delays or deviations from planned timelines, making adjustments as needed.
– Update timeline projections based on current progress and changes and report on timeline adherence.
– Adjustments to timelines and project schedules are recommended to keep programs on track.

SayPro Areas of Improvement Review / Resolutions Evaluation
– Identify areas needing improvement through comprehensive evaluations and feedback analysis.
– Develop and implement action plans to address identified issues and enhance program performance.
– Monitor the effectiveness of resolution strategies and conduct follow-up reviews to assess sustained improvements.
– Report on the effectiveness of resolutions and their impact on overall program performance.

SayPro Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Public Health, Statistics, or a related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
– Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, or a related field.
– Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, research methods, and evaluation techniques.
– Experience in designing and conducting surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and comprehensive reports.
– Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
– Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects effectively.
