Position Overview:
SayPro seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Evaluation Officer to join our Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team. The Evaluation Officer will support the design and implementation of evaluation methodologies, assess program impacts, and provide actionable insights to enhance program effectiveness. This role requires a solid understanding of data analysis, impact assessment, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring our programs are continuously improved based on thorough evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

SayPro Impact Assessment Evaluation
– Design and implement impact assessment methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness and reach of programs.
– Collect and analyse program impact data using quantitative and qualitative methods.
– Prepare comprehensive impact reports highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations.
– Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather insights and assess program effects.
– Review and analyse impact data against predefined benchmarks and goals to evaluate program success.

SayPro Programme/Service Effectiveness Evaluation
– Develop criteria and metrics for assessing the effectiveness of programs and services.
– Conduct surveys and focus groups to gather feedback from participants and stakeholders.
– Analyze data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement in program services.
– Generate effectiveness reports with actionable insights to guide program enhancements.
– Monitor and review changes made to improve program effectiveness and evaluate their impact.

SayPro Assessment Evaluation
– Create assessment tools and frameworks tailored to specific programs to evaluate performance.
– Conduct periodic assessments to measure program success and identify areas for improvement.
– Review and interpret assessment data, sharing findings with relevant stakeholders and teams.
– Recommend strategies to address identified gaps or issues to enhance program performance.

SayPro Impact Studies Evaluation
– Design and execute impact studies to explore and understand the long-term effects of programs on target populations.
– Utilize quantitative and qualitative research methods to gather and analyse data.
– Document and present study findings through detailed reports and presentations.
– Collaborate with external researchers and partners to ensure comprehensive impact analysis.

SayPro Outcomes Evaluation
– Define clear, measurable outcomes for each program or service, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
– Track and assess the achievement of desired outcomes and evaluate the relationship between program activities and results.
– Provide feedback to program managers and stakeholders based on outcome evaluations.
– Adjust program strategies as necessary to improve outcomes based on evaluation results.

SayPro Strategic and Key Documents Evaluation
– Review strategic plans and key documents to ensure alignment with program objectives.
– Assess the relevance and effectiveness of strategies outlined in these documents.
– Update and revise strategic documents based on evaluation findings to ensure ongoing relevance and compliance.
– Communicate changes and updates to relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.

SayPro Programme Timeline Review
– Monitor and review program timelines and milestones to ensure adherence to project schedules.
– Assess and address any delays or deviations from planned timelines.
– Update timeline projections based on current progress and changes, reporting on timeline adherence and recommending adjustments as needed.

SayPro Areas of Improvement Review / Resolutions Evaluation
– Identify areas needing improvement through evaluations, feedback, and performance data.
– Develop and implement action plans to address identified issues and enhance program performance.
– Monitor the effectiveness of resolution strategies and conduct follow-up reviews to assess improvements and sustained changes.
– Report on resolutions and their impact on overall program performance.

SayPro Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Public Health, Statistics, or a related discipline. Master’s degree is a plus.
– Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, or a related role.
– Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and research methods.
– Experience in designing and conducting surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and actionable reports.
– Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
– Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
