Position Overview:
SayPro seeks a highly skilled and motivated Evaluation Manager to lead our Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) efforts. The Evaluation Manager will design, implement, and oversee evaluation methodologies to assess program impacts, effectiveness, and outcomes. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in data analysis, impact assessment, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be adept at quantitative and qualitative research methods and will play a crucial role in ensuring that our programs achieve their goals and continuously improve.
Key Responsibilities:
SayPro Impact Assessment Evaluation
– Design and implement comprehensive impact assessment methodologies to evaluate program outcomes and effects.
– Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to program impacts, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
– Prepare detailed impact reports highlighting key findings, trends, and actionable recommendations.
– Conduct interviews with stakeholders to assess program effects and gather qualitative insights.
– Review impact data against predefined benchmarks and program goals to measure success.
SayPro Programme/Service Effectiveness Evaluation
– Develop clear criteria and metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of programs and services.
– Design and conduct surveys and focus groups to gather feedback from participants and stakeholders.
– Analyze effectiveness data to identify program strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
– Generate effectiveness reports with actionable insights for program enhancement.
– Monitor and review changes made to improve program effectiveness and assess their impact.
SayPro Assessment Evaluation
– Create tailored assessment tools and frameworks to evaluate the performance of specific programs.
– Conduct periodic assessments to measure program success and identify areas for growth.
– Review and interpret assessment data, sharing findings with relevant stakeholders and teams.
– Recommend strategies for addressing identified gaps or issues and support their implementation.
**Impact Studies Evaluation
– Design and execute impact studies to explore the long-term effects of programs on target populations.
– Utilize both quantitative and qualitative research methods to gather comprehensive data.
– Analyze study results to measure program influence and document findings through reports and presentations.
– Collaborate with external researchers and partners for in-depth impact analysis.
SayPro Outcomes Evaluation
– Define measurable outcomes for each program or service, ensuring alignment with objectives.
– Track and assess the achievement of desired outcomes, evaluating the relationship between activities and results.
– Provide outcome-based feedback to program managers and stakeholders to support data-driven decisions.
– Adjust program strategies based on evaluation results to enhance effectiveness.
SayPro Strategic and Key Documents Evaluation
– Review strategic plans and critical documents to ensure they align with organisational objectives.
– Assess the relevance and effectiveness of strategies outlined in strategic documents.
– Update and revise strategic documents based on evaluation findings to maintain relevance and impact.
– Ensure documentation meets regulatory and organisational standards and communicate changes to stakeholders.
SayPro Programme Timeline Review
– Monitor and review program timelines and milestones to ensure adherence to project schedules.
– Assess and address delays or deviations from planned timelines and update projections as needed.
– Report on timeline adherence, recommending adjustments to maintain project alignment and progress.
SayPro Areas of Improvement Review / Resolutions Evaluation
– Identify areas needing improvement through evaluations, feedback, and performance data.
– Develop and implement action plans to address identified issues and enhance program performance.
– Monitor the effectiveness of resolution strategies and conduct follow-up reviews to assess improvements.
– Report on resolutions and their impact on overall program performance.
SayPro Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Public Health, Statistics). Master’s degree preferred.
– Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, or related roles.
– Strong proficiency in data analysis, research methods, and evaluation techniques.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and comprehensive reports.
– Experience with survey design, focus groups, and stakeholder engagement.
– Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
– Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
