Position Overview:
The Infrastructure Development Specialist will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and management of infrastructure projects and systems. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure that infrastructure initiatives are aligned with SayPro’s objectives, are delivered on schedule, and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– **Infrastructure Design and Implementation:**
– Assist in the design and development of infrastructure systems, including network architecture, data centers, and cloud solutions.
– Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirements.

Project Support:
– Support project managers in the development of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
– Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and effective project delivery.

Technical Analysis and Optimization:
– Perform technical analysis of infrastructure components to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
– Recommend and implement enhancements to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
– Monitor and maintain infrastructure systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and securely.
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure components.

Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure designs, implementations, and changes.
– Prepare and present reports on project status, performance metrics, and infrastructure updates to management.

Compliance and Standards:
– Ensure infrastructure projects and systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
– Implement best practices for infrastructure management, including security, reliability, and performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure infrastructure solutions meet business needs.
– Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement:

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
– Proven experience (3+ years) in infrastructure development, systems administration, or a related role.
– Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure components, including networking, servers, storage, and cloud technologies.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
– Proficiency in project management and infrastructure management tools and software.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
