Position Overview:
The Infrastructure Development Officer will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure projects and systems. This role involves ensuring that all infrastructure initiatives align with SayPro’s strategic goals, are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

– **Infrastructure Planning and Development:**
– Lead the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects, including network systems, data centers, and facility upgrades.
– Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and risk management strategies.

Project Management:
– Oversee all phases of infrastructure projects, from initial concept through to completion and maintenance.
– Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
– Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and adjust plans as necessary to address changes or issues.

Technical Oversight:
– Provide technical guidance and expertise in the development and implementation of infrastructure solutions.
– Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure performance and scalability.

Compliance and Standards:
– Ensure that all infrastructure projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CISSP) preferred.
– Proven experience (5+ years) in infrastructure development, project management, or a related role.
– Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure systems, including networking, data centers, and cloud technologies.
– Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex technical issues.
