Job Summary: 

The SayPro Human Capital Office TVET College Graduate Intern will assist in various human capital functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee development, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, workforce planning, and more. This role is designed to provide practical experience to a TVET College graduate while contributing to the overall HR strategy of SayPro. 

Key Responsibilities: SayPro 

SayPro Talent Acquisition 

SayPro Recruitment 

  • Job Analysis: Assist in defining roles, responsibilities, and qualifications for open positions. 
  • Job Posting: Support in advertising job openings across job boards and social media. 
  • Candidate Sourcing: Help identify and approach potential candidates through networking and sourcing platforms. 
  • Application Management: Manage the submission and tracking of job applications. 
  • Interviewing: Participate in interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates. 
  • Offer Management: Assist in extending job offers and negotiating terms with selected candidates. 

SayPro Onboarding 

  • Orientation Programs: Assist in developing and conducting orientation programs for new hires. 
  • Training: Help provide initial training on SayPro’s policies, systems, and culture. 
  • Integration: Support new employees in smoothly integrating into their teams and roles.

  • Training Needs Analysis: Identify training needs through performance reviews and assessments. 
  • Program Design: Assist in developing and implementing training programs and workshops. 
  • Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions or help coordinate external trainers. 
  • Skills Development: Support the professional development of employees through various learning opportunities.

  • Feedback Channels: Assist in maintaining channels for employee feedback and suggestions.

  • Payroll Management: Help oversee payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

  • Retention Strategies: Assist in implementing strategies to retain top talent and reduce turnover.

  • Emergency Procedures: Assist in developing and communicating emergency response procedures.

  • System Management: Support the management of HR systems and ensure data accuracy. 
  • System Implementation: Assist in implementing and upgrading HR systems as needed.

  • Policy Development: Assist in developing and implementing DEI policies and programs. 
  • Training: Help conduct DEI training and awareness programs. 
  • Assessment: Monitor and report on DEI initiatives and outcomes.

  • Diverse Sourcing: Support strategies to recruit a diverse workforce. 
  • Inclusive Practices: Ensure inclusive practices are followed in recruitment and workplace culture. 

Qualifications: 

  • TVET College graduate with a focus on Human Resource Management or related fields. 
  • Knowledge of HR functions, employment laws, and best practices. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software. 

Duration: 

12-month internship with the possibility of full-time employment based on performance.
