SayPro Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented University Graduate Intern to join our dynamic research team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates or current graduate students to gain hands-on experience in health behavior research, data analysis, and project management. As an intern, you will work closely with our research staff on ongoing projects and contribute to the development of new research initiatives.
SayPro Key Responsibilities:
– Assist with the design, implementation, and evaluation of research studies related to health behaviors and interventions.
– Conduct literature reviews to support research activities and identify relevant studies and data.
– Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data using statistical software and research methodologies.
– Prepare research reports, presentations, and publications under the guidance of senior researchers.
– Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for new research ideas.
– Engage in data entry, management, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of research data.
– Assist with the recruitment and coordination of study participants.
SayPro Qualifications:
– Recent graduate or current student in Public Health, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
– Strong interest in health behavior research and public health issues.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, or NVivo) is preferred.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a research team.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Prior research experience or coursework in research methods is a plus.
