SayPro Health is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health Behavior Studies Research Specialist to join our dynamic research team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing studies focused on health behaviors and their impact on public health. SayPro Key Responsibilities:
– Study Design and Implementation: Develop and implement research protocols for health behavior studies, including formulating research questions, designing surveys and questionnaires, and establishing data collection methods.
– Data Collection and Analysis: Oversee data collection processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Utilize statistical software and other analytical tools to analyze research data, identify trends, and generate reports.
– Literature Review: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to inform research design, identify gaps in current knowledge, and stay updated on emerging trends and methodologies in health behavior research.
– Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including epidemiologists, statisticians, and public health professionals, to ensure the alignment of research objectives and methodologies.
– Reporting and Presentation: Prepare detailed research reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, funding agencies, and academic publications. Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
– Ethical Compliance: Ensure that all research activities comply with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, including obtaining informed consent and protecting participant confidentiality.
SayPro Qualifications:
– Education: Master’s degree in Public Health, Behavioral Science, Psychology, or a related field. A PhD or equivalent experience is preferred.
– Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in health behavior research or a related field, with a proven track record of designing and managing research projects.
– Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
