SayPro Health Behavior Studies Research is seeking an accomplished and driven Research Fellow to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with advanced qualifications and a strong background in health behavior research. As a Research Fellow, you will lead and contribute to high-impact research projects aimed at understanding and enhancing health behaviors across various populations. This role offers an opportunity to influence health policy and practice through rigorous research and collaborative efforts.
SayPro Key Responsibilities:
– Research Leadership: Design, develop, and implement research studies focused on health behavior and outcomes. Lead research projects from conception to publication, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and scientific rigor.
– Data Analysis: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data. Utilize advanced statistical and analytical methods to derive insights and inform recommendations.
– Publication and Dissemination: Prepare and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals, present at conferences, and contribute to policy briefs and reports. Effectively communicate research outcomes to both academic and non-academic audiences.
– Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including researchers, policymakers, and community stakeholders, to ensure the relevance and impact of research projects.
– Grant Writing: Contribute to the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications to support ongoing and future research initiatives.
– Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers, interns, and students, fostering a collaborative and productive research environment.
– Administrative Duties: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources. Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
SayPro Qualifications:
– Education: Advanced degree (Ph.D., DrPH, or equivalent) in public health, behavioral sciences, epidemiology, or a related field.
– Experience: Demonstrated experience in health behavior research, including designing and conducting studies, data analysis, and publishing results.
– Skills: Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata) and research methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
– Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
– Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders, and experience in leading research initiatives.
