Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Aid Officer Fellow to join our team. This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our financial aid efforts while gaining valuable experience and insights into the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial aid strategies and programs.
- Administer financial aid programs, including scholarships, grants, and loans.
- Assist students and families in understanding financial aid options and processes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, faculty, and financial institutions.
- Organize and oversee financial aid workshops, seminars, and support programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for financial aid inquiries and concerns.
- Track and report on financial aid activities and outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive financial aid strategies.
- Manage crisis situations and handle issues that may affect student financial well-being.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Financial Aid Officer or similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing financial aid services (scholarships, grants, loans).
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial management software.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Creativity and problem-solving aptitude.
- BSc/BA in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
