We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Impact Assessments Research Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in conducting detailed research and analysis to assess the potential environmental impacts of projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, policy, or a related field, with a proven ability to evaluate and interpret environmental data and regulations.

SayPro Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough research and analysis on environmental impacts related to proposed projects, including land use, air and water quality, biodiversity, and socio-economic effects.
– Prepare comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
– Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to gather data, provide insights, and address environmental concerns.
– Monitor and review existing projects to assess their ongoing environmental impact and effectiveness of mitigation measures.
– Stay up-to-date with environmental regulations, policies, and best practices to ensure that assessments are current and comprehensive.
– Develop and present findings and recommendations to clients, management, and other relevant parties.
– Contribute to the development of new methodologies and tools for enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of environmental impact assessments.

SayPro Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Ecology, or a related field.
– Proven experience in environmental impact assessment, research, or a related role.

– Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
