Job Summary: 

As a SayPro Digital Communications University Graduate Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in executing a wide range of digital communication strategies. This role is designed to provide practical experience in various digital marketing channels, including email marketing, SMS marketing, social media, and more. You will work closely with the Digital Communications team to plan, create, and analyze digital campaigns, contributing to SayPro’s mission of empowering youth and communities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

SayPro Email Marketing Campaigns 

  • List Management: Organize and segment email lists for targeted communication. 
  • Template Design: Create branded email templates to ensure consistency in all communications. 
  • Campaign Management: Plan and schedule email campaigns, including setting up automated sequences. 
  • Personalization: Utilize personalization tags to tailor emails to individual recipients based on their name, preferences, or behavior. 
  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on email subject lines, content, and call-to-action buttons to optimize campaign performance. 
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to gauge the effectiveness of email campaigns. 
  • Compliance: Ensure all email marketing activities comply with regulations such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR. 

SayPro SMS Marketing 

  • Message Creation: Write concise, engaging SMS messages tailored to the target audience. 
  • Targeting: Segment audiences for targeted SMS delivery to enhance relevance and engagement. 
  • Scheduling: Set up automated sending times for SMS campaigns to maximize reach and effectiveness. 
  • Analytics: Monitor delivery rates, response rates, and opt-outs to refine future campaigns. 
  • Compliance: Adhere to SMS marketing regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). 

SayPro Push Notifications 

  • Setup: Configure push notification services for SayPro’s mobile apps and websites. 
  • Message Design: Create engaging and actionable push notifications that drive user interaction. 
  • Segmentation: Target specific user segments based on behavior, location, or demographics for personalized messaging. 
  • Timing: Schedule notifications at optimal times to increase engagement. 
  • Analytics: Measure the performance of notifications by tracking metrics such as open rates and user interactions. 

SayPro Social Media Campaigns 

  • Content Creation: Develop graphics, videos, and text posts that resonate with SayPro’s audience. 
  • Scheduling: Plan and automate social media posts across various platforms to maintain a consistent online presence. 
  • Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster community interaction. 
  • Advertising: Create and manage paid social media ads to boost reach and engagement. 
  • Analytics: Track social media engagement metrics, including likes, shares, and comments, to assess campaign effectiveness. 

SayPro Online Surveys and Polls 

  • Survey Design: Create engaging and relevant surveys to gather feedback from SayPro’s audience. 
  • Distribution: Send surveys via email, social media, or website pop-ups to reach the target audience. 
  • Data Collection: Gather and analyze survey responses to gain insights into audience preferences and behavior. 
  • Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on survey findings and actionable insights.

  • Planning: Organize webinar topics, select speakers, and create schedules to ensure a smooth event flow. 
  • Promotion: Send invitations and reminders via email and social media to maximize attendance. 
  • Hosting: Manage the technical aspects of the webinar, including platform setup and live streaming. 
  • Follow-up: Send post-webinar surveys, thank-you emails, and access to recorded sessions.

Qualifications: 

  • Recent university graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in using email marketing platforms, social media management tools, and analytics software. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
