Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for our SayPro Awards Learnership. This role will provide hands-on experience in managing and executing our awards program, covering key areas such as Award Categories, Nomination and Selection, Ceremony Planning, Communication, Promotion, and Post-Award Activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1.SayPro Award Categories:
– Employee Excellence:
– Organize awards for Employee of the Year, Leadership Excellence, Innovation Award, Customer Service Award, and Team of the Year.
– Business Achievements:
– Manage awards for Best New Product, Growth Award, Sustainability Award, Community Impact Award, and Best Marketing Campaign.
– Industry Recognition:
– Oversee Industry Leader Award, Best Practice Award, and Innovation in Technology.
– Special Recognitions:
– Handle Lifetime Achievement, Rising Star, and Diversity and Inclusion Award.
2.SayPro Award Nomination and Selection:
– Nomination Process:
– Announce and invite nominations.
– Provide and collect nomination forms.
– Set and manage submission deadlines.
– Selection Criteria:
– Develop clear criteria and metrics for each award.
– Assemble a judging panel with relevant expertise.
– Evaluate nominations based on established criteria.
– Final Selection:
– Shortlist nominees.
– Conduct interviews or presentations if necessary.
– Finalize winners based on judges’ decisions.
3.SayPro Award Ceremony Planning:
– Event Coordination:
– Select and book the venue.
– Plan the event date, time, and schedule.
– Manage logistics including transportation and accommodation.
– Program Design:
– Create an agenda with speeches, award presentations, and entertainment.
– Develop scripts and speeches.
– Plan entertainment or performances.
– Awards Presentation:
– Design and produce trophies, plaques, or certificates.
– Organize the presentation of awards.
– Arrange for photography and video recording.
4.SayPro Communication and Promotion:
– Announcement:
– Write and distribute press releases.
– Promote through social media channels.
– Inform employees and stakeholders.
– Marketing Materials:
– Create brochures, flyers, and event invitations.
– Publish post-event reports and highlights.
5.SayPro Post-Award Activities:
– Feedback Collection:
– Collect and review feedback from attendees, nominees, and winners.
– Continuous Improvement:
– Identify areas for improvement.
– Plan for the next awards cycle based on feedback.
– Recognition:
– Feature winners in newsletters, websites, and media.
– Provide ongoing recognition and support.
Qualifications:
– Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a relevant field (e.g., Event Management, Communications, Public Relations).
– Strong organizational and communication skills.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
